Lakiyah is an Administrative Assistant at Schmidt Futures. Within this role, she supports OneOne Ventures Team and the Rise Program in various capacities.

She started her career as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO and his pharmaceutical liability law firm. Lakiyah has also supported several executives in the healthcare industry.

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Lakiyah is a firm believer in “paying it forward”. She volunteers with various community outreach programs, focusing on youth development.

Lakiyah graduated from Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism (Media Studies) & Biology.
